🥶❄️💨 A COLD BUT WONDERFUL DAY IN HARDEN- 🥶❄️💨 A COLD BUT WONDERFUL DAY IN HARDEN-MURRUMBURRAH 🥶❄️💨 ✔️YES, the weather was miserable 💨
✔️YES, I was freezing 🥶 ✔️YES, I was incredibly excited to be spending the day in Harden and Murrumburrah checking in on the multi-million dollar projects the NSW Government is delivering for the community 😁. 🏥The Murrumburrah-Harden Health Service Redevelopment remains on track 🙌🏻. This fantastic project is due to be complete in early 2021. 🚒 I joined Tom McDevitt and Public Works representatives on a tour of the South West Slopes Zone RFS Fire Control Centre... it’s nearly finished and we can’t wait for the community to see this incredible multi-million dollar facility purpose-built for our volunteers. 🔨A catch up with Bill Maskill and the members of the Harden Men’s Shed who provided me a warm respite on this cold day. I was thrilled to hand over funding from their successful application to the Community Partnership Program. They will be undertaking a $21,636 refurbishment to their Shed. 🚌 In a happy coincidence the Service NSW Mobile Service Centre was in Harden. This was a great opportunity to thank the hard-working Service NSW team members and for locals to be able to pop in and access this wonderful service without having to travel out of town. I'll keep everyone posted on where the Mobile Centre will be heading to next in the electorate. 🖌Before I headed back to Young late that afternoon, I caught up with members of the Murrumburrah Showground Land Manger to congratulate them on their successful application as part of the NSW Government COVID-19 stimulus package: $21,247 for upgrades to the Cowabbie building, repair and paint its entrance gates, and paint the inside of the lunch pavilion. An amazing 20 showgrounds across the Cootamundra electorate are sharing in a total of $1,779,153 from this program.

Well done Harden and Murrumburrah! Sx 💕
It was fantastic to officially open the new electr It was fantastic to officially open the new electrical trades training facilities at @tafensw Leeton today.
This expansion to the Leeton campus will help meet the local demand for electrotechnology skills and is a $600,000 investment from the NSW Government.
The work was done by @npmindigenous, creating employment opportunities for Indigenous people and building relationships with local businesses.
As a TAFE graduate, I know first hand just how wonderful this organisation is at giving students the skills they need to succeed.
With significant local employers like Casella Wines, Baiada, Flavourtech and many irrigation companies, this new facility will help locals be job-ready.

🤾‍♂️🧘🏿‍♀️💃GYMS AND JUNIOR 🤾‍♂️🧘🏿‍♀️💃GYMS AND JUNIOR SPORT RETURN🕺🏾🧘‍♂️🤾‍♀️ The NSW Deputy Premier John Barilaro, NSW Health Minister and Minister for Sport announced a short time ago gymnasiums, yoga, indoor pools and dance studios can reopen within a fortnight and kids’ community sport can resume across NSW from 1 July.

🏐JUNIOR TEAM NETS NEW COURT SURFACE🏐 Congra 🏐JUNIOR TEAM NETS NEW COURT SURFACE🏐

Congratulations to the Junee Junior Netball Association on your NSW Government Sports Grant!

The club has been awarded $6000 to resurface their court, and this funding means registration and uniforms can be subsidised for players.
The surface is all ready to go, with local parents and supporters donating their time to do the prep work and save the club paying for this work.
The Association has players from every school in Junee and is so important for keeping kids active.

Well done to you all!
❄️WINTER IS COMING❄️ It’s been a chilly ❄️WINTER IS COMING❄️ It’s been a chilly start to the morning in the Cootamundra Electorate 🥶
Parts of the electorate have been shrouded in fog, while other parts have been lucky enough to get underneath some showers 🌧

👏🧡WEAR ORANGE WEDNESDAY🧡👏 Today is Wea 👏🧡WEAR ORANGE WEDNESDAY🧡👏 Today is Wear Orange Wednesday, where we say thank you to our amazing SES volunteers.
I am incredibly proud to be part of NSW SES Junee Unit, and I am constantly impressed by the dedication of the volunteers who go above and beyond for our communities.
The SES is one of many organisations that steps up to protect our communities when they are most in need, so thank you to every volunteer, past and present, for your service.
These photos were taken at our water training session in February this year at the Junee Recreation and Aquatic Centre. 🤗 It was a great and if I can do it, I reckon anyone can sign up and have a go - we would welcome any new volunteers with open arms!
Looking forward to catching up with the guys again. Sx 🧡🧡 #thankyounswses
🛍 SUPPORT OUR LOCAL BUSINESSES 🛍 😀 Catchi 🛍 SUPPORT OUR LOCAL BUSINESSES 🛍 😀 Catching up with Tracey, Bailey and Madison at @kamarleyandmehomewaresandgifts - Temora who together helped me purchase a gorgeous present for special little baby Hallie... we did great - thanks so much! Business owner Nicole Block has a beautiful shop and I’ll definitely be back 🎁. 🛍 It’s also a gentle reminder to everyone to support our local businesses right across the region, particularly in small communities. Sx 💕 💝 They need your support more than ever.
🏉🏐MARRAR FOOTBALL NETBALL CLUB FACILITIES GE 🏉🏐MARRAR FOOTBALL NETBALL CLUB FACILITIES GET SECURITY BOOST🏐🏉 It's so fantastic to be able to get out and about around the electorate again and to see the wonderful upgrades at the Marrar Football Netball Club and Langtry Oval.

This Club has a long history but Vicki Langtry told me before a $275,000 grant from the Stronger Country Communities Fund there had never really been a facility that could function as a clubhouse where people could sit and watch games, and the facilities for netball players weren't up to scratch.

This brand new facility has 'solved six problems with one project' and is a brilliant new area ready for sports to start back up again.

Today I got to announce an additional $4,482 for security cameras and a PA system from the NSW Government's Sports Grants for this facility.

This new equipment will protect this wonderful community asset from vandalism and helps set up this sporting venue for generations to come.

All we need now are customers at the bar 🍻
👏🩺👩‍⚕️ THANK YOU TO OUR NURSES👨‍⚕️🩺👏 Today is International Nurses Day!
There are so many amazing nurses who go above and beyond every day to care for people in their time of need.
You are the pillars of our health care system.
Today also marks Florence Nightingale’s 200th birthday, who was the driving force in pioneering modern nursing.
To all the amazing nurses and midwives across our communities, thank you for your dedication, your care and what you do every day. 💙💜

☺️LOCKDOWN TO BE RELAXED FROM FRIDAY☺️ Gre ☺️LOCKDOWN TO BE RELAXED FROM FRIDAY☺️ Great news from the Premier that from Friday two adults, plus their children, will be able to visit households for small social gatherings.
This is being done to reduce social isolation, and you can go and visit those over 70 or in at-risk categories (or they can come to you), just make sure you are feeling well and you continue to practice good hygiene.
There are no distance restrictions on this, so you can go to other towns and cities to visit family and friends.
But for now this does not mean you can go on a holiday.
This is a great sign that our social distancing measures are working and we are slowing the spread of this virus.
Please don't take risks at this time, if you feel unwell or have come in to contact with a known case of COVID-19 stay at home.
This has been a tough period for so many and I want to thank everyone for adhering to social distancing. We should all be proud of our low transmission numbers. (Just remember, no parties for now 😊🎉) #socialdistancing #lockdown #covid19
