Member for Cootamundra Steph Cooke is inviting community members to share their
views on the future health needs of Cowra.
The Western NSW Local Health District is currently refreshing the Clinical Services
Plan for Cowra Health Service, which will help inform the Cowra Hospital
redevelopment.
Ms Cooke is hosting a series of drop-in sessions in Cowra’s surrounding villages to
meet with the community and hear their views, which will be shared with the
WNSWLHD.
Session dates and times:
20 July, 5-6pm, Montrose House, Canowindra
21 July, 5-6pm, Gooloogong Country Club
22 July, 5-6pm, Wyangala Country Club
23 July, 5-6pm, Woodstock Memorial Hall
Ms Cooke said she was keen to paint a clear picture of the needs of Cowra’s
surrounding communities.
“I am passionate about this project and that’s why I want to ensure everyone in our community has the opportunity to share their views on what facilities are needed,” Ms Cooke said.
“Pop in and have a chat to help inform the Western NSW Local Health District’s
consultation and help shape the Cowra Hospital redevelopment.”
Social distancing measures will be in place, and anyone displaying flu-like
symptoms is encouraged to stay home and express their views via phone or email.
