Share your thoughts on proposed Cowra to Canberra bus route

Member for Cootamundra Steph Cooke MP is encouraging members of the Cowra community to share their views on a proposed bus route linking Cowra to Canberra via Koorawatha, Bendick Murrell and Murringo.

Consultation begins in Cowra today and will move on to Wyangala tomorrow, giving residents an opportunity to share their thoughts on how the service could best serve their needs.

“Public transport is a vital service for the communities which make up the Cootamundra electorate, and so I’m delighted that we will be able to trial a service linking Wyangala, Cowra and Canberra,” Ms Cooke said.

“It will be a weekly day return service travelling from Wyangala through Cowra and Murringo, and so I am calling on residents in these communities to share their thoughts with NSW TrainLink so that the service can get off to the best possible start.”

Consultation starts today, September 24, at Woolworths at 3/9 Railway Lane, Cowra, from 9.30am to 2pm.

Tomorrow, September 25, it moves to Wyangala where information leaflets will be available at various community locations in the area. Alternatively, you can share your opinions on the proposed service online at https://survey.canvasu.com.au/canvasu/tranlinkwyangala
