Active Kids Now Available for School Holiday Programs

Kids have even more reason to get active during these school holidays with the Active Kids program now extended to include school holiday sports programs.

Member for Cootamundra Steph Cooke said families could now use the $100 Active Kids voucher for eligible school holiday programs.

“Summer school holidays in the region are all about getting outdoors and having fun with your friends,” Ms Cooke said.

“There are lots of excellent school holiday sport programs across the electorate and we know how much local kids love participating in them.”

“That’s why we’ve extended the Active Kids program to include them.”

“So, whether it’s surfing, sailing, tennis, cricket or dancing the Active Kids program has got your kids covered these summer holidays.”

Minister for Sport Alister Henskens said the Active Kids program is a nation-leading NSW initiative delivering enormous benefits for community sporting organisations and clubs across the State.

“The Active Kids program has significantly accelerated sporting participation and pumped unprecedented funding into community sporting organisations and clubs,” Mr Henskens said.

“There are more than 11,000 Active Kids providers in NSW and with summer sport in full swing, school holidays are the perfect time to register kids in their favourite sport or recreation activity.”

Families can create their child’s Active Kids voucher by via the Service NSW app or website and calling 13 77 88.
