Improving the Newell Highway – In Progress

The NSW Government has committed to a $500 million program to upgrade and improve safety on the Newell Highway.
Under the 2019-20 NSW Budget, in particular, the NSW Government allocated $205 million to flood-proofing the highway between West Wyalong and Forbes.
