Reduced Speed Limits in Jugiong – Delivered

After safety issues were raised by locals, speed zones within the village and surrounds have been reduced to ensure safety for pedestrians and motorists alike.

These reductions were:

  • A reduction from 100 km/h to 80km/h from the town’s northern Hume Highway intersection to about 50 metres north of Sheahan Street;
  • The installation of two 40 km/h high pedestrian areas; one on Riverside Drive 50 metres north of Sheahan Street to 50 metres south of Jugiong Road and the other on Jugiong Road between Stapylton Street and Riverside Drive.
  • A reduction from 90 km/h to 80 km/h on Riverside Drive south of Jugiong Road to the Hume Highway.
