This railway line was deactivated after it sustained damage in the 2011 floods. The NSW Government is committed to seeing it repaired, reactivated and operational once more. Transport for NSW are currently finalising industry engagement as part of the concept design phase to seeing the reactivation commense.
This project when complete will take pressure off our local road network and improve connections with existing rail corridors, reducing costs for industry.
