Junee’s Athenium Theatre – In Progress

With a recent announcement of $1.5 million through the NSW Government’s Creative Capital program, the Iconic Athenium theatre in Junee is set to enter the final stages of the masterplan which will see it become the envy of regional theatres statewide.

Thanks to over $1 million of investment through the NSW Government’s Regional Cultural Fund, Regional Growth – Environment and Tourism Fund and Stronger Country Communities Fund, the iconic Athenium Theatre in Junee has previously seen upgrades to lighting and sound, and commercial viability improvements and airconditioning and solar panel installation.
